Starting in the Fall of 2024, the University of Florida will provide two options for prospective students to apply: Early Action (EA) and Regular Decision (RD). EA is a non-binding way to apply to UF. It allows students more time to explore their housing and financial aid options. If applicants submit their EA application file before the specified deadlines, they will receive an admission decision sooner than ever before.
For detailed information about the UF Admissions process visit the UF How to Apply page.
Our FYCS advising staff work closely with community and state college students to ensure a smooth transfer to the University of Florida. Roughly one-third of our students have 60+ hours of transfer credits! Transfer applicants must meet the transfer admissions criteria for their chosen major. Refer to the CALS Transfer Guide for requirements.
PaCE provides freshmen with the opportunity to start their UF degree online and then transition to campus to complete their undergraduate degree. Read about using this program as a pathway to FYCS on the CALS PaCE page.
