Extension Veteran-Friendly Certificate

The Extension Veteran-Friendly Certificate is an online training course for professionals in Extension looking to gain knowledge to support Veterans and their families in their communities. The curriculum covers insights on military culture, their common general health and mental health issues, Veteran Affairs system, and available resources. Completion of the course leads to the Veteran-Friendly competency certificate.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The course is free and delivered through UF Extension Online. The curriculum is asynchronous over five modules and five knowledge assessments. Participants take a module practice test before accessing the course material, then complete a short quiz following their review. Those who score of 80% or higher per module are eligible for the certificate.
