Abstract
70% Extension and 30% Research appointment
I have diverse education and research backgrounds in architecture, site planning, urban design, and housing. As Extension faculty in the area of housing and home environment, my goal is to enhance the quality of life of Florida residents through improvement of their housing situation. My research and Extension program development will focus on broad range of Florida housing issues including housing affordability, mold and mildews, home safety and security, special needs housing, energy efficiency, sustainable development, hurricane preparedness/recovery, house maintenance, waste management, and so on. I will use the best of my diverse backgrounds to approach the Florida housing issues from various perspectives.
